Monday, August 28 at 11:28 pm, Christian Gonzalez, 24, of Flora was issued a citation for operating uninsured vehicle following a traffic stop on West 3rd Street.
Tuesday, August 29 at 2:26 am, Flora Police arrested Doug Lindsey, 43, of Flora for Domestic Battery, Resisting Arrest and Criminal Damage, following an incident in the 300 block of West Scudamore. Lindsey was taken to Flora Police Department for booking procedures before being transferred to Clay County Jail.
Wednesday, August 30 at 5:15 pm, Flora Police arrested Vivian Pruitt, 49, of Flora for theft, following an incident in the 100 block of West North Avenue. Pruitt was transported to Flora Police Department for booking procedures and was released with a Notice to Appear.
Thursday, August 31 at 4:06 pm, Troy Grove, 53, of Flora was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Pedestrian Under the Influence of Alcohol and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, following an incident in the 400 block of North Sycamore. Grove underwent booking at Flora Police Department and was released with court dates.
Sunday, September 3 at 3:08 pm, Tammy Kurtz, 45, of Flora was issued local ordinance citations for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, following an incident in the 100 block of Railroad Street.
Sunday, September 3 at 9:09 pm, Flora Police investigated a one-vehicle accident on South Main Street involving a 2001 Buick operated by Joyce Goff, 64, of Iuka. Goff was issued citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid accident, disobey stop sign x2 and reckless driving. Goff was transported to Clay County Hospital by Clay County Ambulance.
Sunday, September 3 at 11:40 pm, Steven Thomas, 44, of Flora was issued citations for operating uninsured vehicle and no valid driver’s license, following a traffic stop on US Rte 45/50.
