RICHLAND CO., Ill.—A single-vehicle car crash Saturday night has left two Anna, Illinois, girls in out-of-state hospitals with serious injuries.

Illinois State Police District 12 out of Effingham report that the car crash involving a 2007 Toyota Camry occurred Saturday night (January 10, 2015) at 9:15 p.m. in a location outside of Parkersburg, Illinois.

The car, being driven by Kasandra Orilla Bunch, 18, of Anna, was westbound on Parkersburg Lane a half-mile east of the village of Parkersburg in south Richland County, when she lost control of the vehicle, went off the road to the right, and hit a phone pole. ISP say that at that point the vehicle overturned, but landed upright in a ditch.

Bunch was airlifted from the scene with very serious injuries, according to ISP, and taken to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
