Norris City man sentenced in White County court afternoon session

WHITE CO., Ill. - White County State's Attorney Denton Aud has released information about a man from Norris City who was sentenced this afternoon in an Aggravated DUI case.

Aud said that Christopher L. Hosman, 42, of Norris City, was sentenced in two separate felony counts, with the sentences to run concurrently with each other.

Hosman got four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the Class 1 felony Aggravated DUI (5 or more) charge filed against him in the incident. He will be serving two years of parole following release.

Additionally, Hosman pled guilty to the Class 4 felony Driving While License Revoked (two or more) case filed against him, and for that, he'll get three years in IDOC, to be followed by a year of parole.

The Carmi Police Department was the arresting agency, said Aud. Hosman was represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle.
