WHITE CO., Ill. - Talk about being efficient and expeditious.
Sharp-eyed officers at the White County Courthouse in Carmi yesterday (Wednesday, January 24) observed a man at the courthouse who had an active warrant.
Court Security officer Deputy Thomas was assigned to Courtroom A and, at around 10 a.m., was advised that Timothy A. Wilson, 21, of Crossville, who was apparently there in the courtroom, had an active warrant for a 2018 misdemeanor, Possession of Firearm Ammunition without Requisite FOID.
Thomas took Wilson into custody and Wilson was walked over to the county jail.
Wilson was then taken back to court and his bond was set at $1,500 bail ($150 cash), so Wilson was taken back to the jail, where he was able to post the $150 for his release.
