WHITE CO., Ill. - Bad behavior behind bars got a guy from Evansville hemmed up and now, sentenced, in White County Wednesday.

White County State's Attorney Denton Aud said that Blake A. Fisher, 29, of Evansville, was sentenced to three years in Illinois Department of Corrections on the morning of January 24, in a plea deal on the Class 3 felony.

Aud said that Fisher was in the White County Jail serving the remainder of a jail sentence in a separate case when Fisher punched another inmate. The case was therefore investigated by the White County Jail/Sheriff's Department, resulting in the charge and plea.

Fisher is to serve a year of parole once released, and he was ordered to pay all mandatory fines, fees, costs and assessments, which amounts to $1,092 in the initial case, and $447 in the battery case, none of which has been paid.
