FLORA, Ill. - Flora's police report for the end of September-beginning of October contains the usual run of citations and arrests, including one guy from Alabama who ended up with an Illegal Transportation citation.

Thursday, September 28 at 5:31 pm, Flora Police arrested Tara Szarek, 25, of Flora for Disorderly Conduct, following an incident in the 100 block of East Scudamore. Szarek was transported to Flora Police Department for booking procedures and released with a Notice to Appear.
Thursday, September 28 at 11:40 pm, James Capper, 24, of Johnsonville was issued a citation for Speeding, following a traffic stop in the 600 block of South State Street. During the same traffic stop, Anthony Capper, 50, of Alabama was issued a citation for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol.
Saturday, September 30 at 7:19 pm, Tristan Huffman, 22, of Flora was issued a citation for Failure to Use Headlights when Required, following a traffic stop on West 6th Street.
Saturday, September 30 at 11:23 pm, Steven Thomas, 44, of Flora was issued a citation for Speeding and Local Ordinance Citations for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, following a traffic stop in the 900 block of North Olive.
Sunday, October 1 at 1:54 a.m., Flora Police arrested Cody Gould, 26, of Flora for Driving Under the Influence, following a traffic stop in the 200 block of West North Avenue. Gould was transported to Flora Police Department for booking procedures and was released with a Notice to Appear.
Monday, October 2 at 11:04 pm, Flora Police arrested Robert Sherman, 44, of Flora on a Wayne County Warrant for Aggravated Domestic Battery. Sherman was taken to Flora Police Department, he was then able to post necessary cash bond and was released with a Notice to Appear.
