MT. VERNON, Ill. - The federal building in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, came under attack earlier today by someone wielding golf clubs.
As many know, the building, located on the strip between the eastbound and westbound Highway 15 running through the city on the east side of Mt. Vernon, has an almost-entirely-glass façade.
A bit earlier today (Tuesday, October 3), it's being reported, a man took some golf clubs to the lower-floor windows and began swinging, shattering many.
We're told that the FBI is on-scene.
