CARMI, Ill. - A woman whose identification shows she's from Robinson, Illinois, was arrested in Carmi last night on a warrant from the state of Alabama.

Carmi police say that the creatively-named Kyndsey A. Kingery, 20, whose address was listed as that of a trailer park in Robinson, was arrested at 7:24 p.m. yesterday, Thursday, August 31 in Carmi on a warrant from Baldwin County, Alabama.

The warrant pertains to a Failure to Appear on a Dangerous Drugs charge.

Online court records show that Kingery was bearing a Loxley address in Alabama at the time of her arrest. Loxley is a lovely small town on Highway 59 running through Baldwin and it has a wonderful farm market open year round (we know this because it's part of our regular vacation route; and we're bringing it up because Kingery really should've just stayed in Alabama despite a dope charge...why anyone would leave Alabama if they don't have to is completely beyond us...)

Anyway, Kingery is locked up at White awaiting officials to sort it out. It's unclear whether Baldwin will send someone up here to get her, or whether White will send someone down to Baldwin with her.

Whatever the case, we'd like to put in an order for a large bunch of scuppernong and muscatel grapes, which are in season right now at Burris Farm Market in Loxley and that's just a piece down the road from the courthouse in Robertsdale (unless you go to the satellite courthouse in Fairhope, in which case it's up the road a piece but you have to get back on the 181 to get over there to 59 and there's few direct routes)...since this is an off year for our vacation, we won't be going down there this year, and we don't get the kinds of grapes like that here. Can yall do that for us...? Please and thank you.

Me at Burris Farm Market last October. It's usually one of our first stops for food stores at the cottage. No, I didn't buy any pickled pig lips. But I was considering it. Maybe next vacay.
