WHITE CO., Ill. - A Monday morning traffic stop got a woman from Saline County hemmed up in White County on a Williamson County warrant for Failure to Appear on a DUI.

This multi-county matter came about at 9:07 a.m. yesterday (Monday, April 17) on the parking lot of Pundrake in Carmi, when a Carmi police officer stopped Treasa Jennings, 37, of Eldorado, and arrested her for that very thing, along with a White County charge of Driving While License Suspended.

Jennings caught the DUI in Williamson in early September 2013; and the matter was settled in early 2015. Nothing had happened in the case since a December 2016 hearing, which was a sentencing on a petition to revoke. Apparently, Williamson isn’t happy with the way the pay or appear has been going, so the warrant was issued.

Jennings was taken to the White County Jail, where she must post $150 for the White County charge and $1,575 for the warrant arrest in order to secure her release pending a hearing on the matter.

In other Carmi police report information, a theft of meds was reported from a location on Renshaw Avenue. Cynthia K. Pierce, 56, and Glenn Dale Pierce, 51, reported that medication was stolen from their vehicle
