On April 13, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy cited Brandon Goodiel, 21, Xenia, for City Ordinance Dogs at Large. He was given a Notice to Appear and released.
April 13, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Megan R. Harvel, 21, Flora, for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Cannabis. Bond set at $10,000.00 (10 percent). She posted bond and was released.
April 13, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Cody Houston, 21, Flora, for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Cannabis. Bond set at $10,000.00 (10 percent). He posted bond and was released.
April 13, Christy Skurat, 40, Centralia, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Illegal Possession of Hypodermic Syringes and Needles. Bond set at $5,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.
April 14, Brandon Talbert, 30, Carbondale, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of D.U.I. Bond set at $5,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He posted bond and was released.
April 14, Melody Flood, 24, Cisne, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Petition to Revoke Probation on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance. Bond set at $25,000.00 (10 percent). Flood was also wanted on an Effingham County warrant for Deceptive Practice. Bond set at $1,500.00 (10 percent). She posted bond and was released.
April 14, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Brenda Locke, 50, Clay City, for Manufacture or Delivery of Cannabis and Retail Theft. Bond set at $1,200.00 (10 percent). She posted bond and was released.
April 15, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Renea Lewis, 30, Clay City, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. Bond set at $2,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She posted bond and was released.
April 15, Shari McDowell, 34, Calhoun, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Unlawful Financial Exploitation of an Elderly Person. Bond set at $30,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She posted bond and was released.
April 15, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Brett Evans, 22, Flora, for Defrauding Drug and Alcohol Screening Test. Bond set at $10,000.00 (10 percent). He posted bond and was released.
April 16, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy cited Justin Schofield, 34, Clay City, for Clay City Ordinance Dogs at Large. He was given a Notice to Appear and released.
April 17, the Clay County Sheriff's Office received a report of a motor vehicle accident at 10:05 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Rt 50 and Indian Ridge Road Apparently Teddy Lame, 52, Olney, operating a 1998 Jeep Cherokee, was travelling west on U.S. Rt 50, when an east bound vehicle operated by Robert L. Monical, 78, Clay City, turned across the westbound lane and was struck by the Lame vehicle. Minor injuries were reported.
April 18, Clay County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Stewart Griffith, 54, Clay City, for Possession of Cannabis Sativa Plants. He was given a Notice to Appear and released.
April 18, Rachel O'Rand, 35, Clay City, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Operation of Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Bond set at $5,000.00 (10 percent), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.
