HAMILTON CO., Ill. - Hamilton County State's Attorney Justin Hood announced sentencing today of a woman from Eldorado who got in trouble in Broughton last year.
Marylou Reynolds, 27, of Eldorado, plead guilty to a Class 3 felony Theft today; Hood said she was sentenced to 2 years probation and had to pay $3,500.00 in restitution for money that was taken out of a safe at the victim's residence in Broughton, while Reynolds was working for the victim on June 24, 2015.
A rare $1,000.00 bill was part of the money taken out of the safe.
The case was investigated by the Illinois State Police. Her plea was in front of Judge David Frankland.
