EDWARDS CO., Ill. - An Olney man and a Wabash County woman are the latest two to come under suspicion of meth crimes in Edwards County.

And fittingly, they were apprehended because of the cross-contamination that exists between the two counties of Richland and Edwards as it regards meth runners...and very nearly at the county line: The West Salem crossroads.

Arrested Sunday, August 30, were Justin W. Cleaver, 40, of Olney, and Amanda M. Edgin, 29, of Keensburg. Cleaver was charged with Meth Delivery and Possession of Meth; Edgin was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine; as an additional insult, she was charged with Operating an Uninsured Vehicle as a result of the traffic stop that caught the two there in Edwards.

Cleaver's a meth felon from Richland dating back to a single 2006 conviction in 2007 after a multiple meth count set of charges, courtesy then-prosecutor David Hyde. Edgin is a relative newcomer to the meth arrest scene.

They were booked in the White County Jail for Edwards County; appearances on the charges are pending.
