CRAWFORD/RICHLAND COs.— An auto accident on July 13 in the vicinity of Stoy in Crawford County is still being investigated according to public officials, based on the events leading up to the incident.
The public facts as they are known is that Michael Brenton, 49, of Claremont, was involved in a domestic incident at his home just prior to taking off at about 3 p.m. that day.
He crashed his car, shown here, a little more than an hour later.
His widow, Amber Brenton, has since that time been trying to sort out, with assistance of Crawford and Richland county authorities, just what happened in the interim...and why the crash occurred.
