Vickie L. Sanders
OLNEY, Ill. - Vickie L. Sanders, 57, of Olney, was sentenced on May 9, 2018, to 120 months in federal prison for methamphetamine-related offenses, Donald S. Boyce, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced today. Sanders previously pleaded guilty to six counts in a federal indictment.
Kylee Black
Count 1 charged that from on or about 2015, until on or about April 21, 2017, in Richland County, Sanders and co-defendant Kylee D. Black, 34, also of Olney, conspired with others known and unknown to the Grand Jury to knowingly and intentionally manufacture fifty (50) grams or more of methamphetamine.
Count 2 charged that on April 21, 2017, in Richland County, Sanders knowingly and intentionally attempted to manufacture a mixture or substance containing methamphetamine.
Counts 3-6 charged that Sanders and Black knowingly and intentionally possessed pseudoephedrine knowing that it would be used to manufacture methamphetamine. The dates involved were December 21, 2016 (Count 3), December 15, 2015 (Count 4), September 30, 2015 (Count 5), and April 3, 2015 (Count 6). Co-defendant Kylee Black was previously sentenced to 168 months’ imprisonment.
The investigation in this case was conducted by the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.
