CARMI— Carmi authorities responded to a two-vehicle accident involving an unoccupied parked car Tuesday afternoon.
According to police reports, on March 27, at 12:20 p.m. a 2006 Ford Mustang, owned by Marcelo V. Perez, 21, of 730 Renshaw Ave., Apt. 1, was parked on Renshaw Avenue, facing north on the west side of the roadway.
Authorities say that Norminda Allen, 49, of 1296 Co. Rd. 800 East, Carmi, operating a 2013 Kia Sorento, owned by Teddy R. Allen, backed out of a parking spot in front of 730 Renshaw Ave., apartment building and struck Perez’ vehicle on the passenger side.
No injuries were reported from the collision and no citations were mentioned in the initial report.
