CLAY CO., Ill. - On March 7th the Clay County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a residential burglary in Larkinsburg Township. The complainant advised that unknown person(s) entered the residence and stole several items including a firearm.
As a result of the investigation Clay County Sheriff’s Deputies were able to recover several the stolen items, including the firearm.
On March 19 in Clay County Circuit Court an arrest warrant was issued for Wade A. Webster, 25, of Edgewood for the offense of Residential Burglary, bond was set in the amount of $50,000 10 percent to apply.
Webster is currently incarcerated in the Effingham County Jail for additional offenses in Effingham County.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Clay County State’s Attorney, Effingham Police Department and the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office.
