OLNEY, Ill. - We've all had it happen.
Someone spoofs a phone from the prefix your phone bears; you pick it up thinking it's someone you know but it turns out to be "Elizabeth and I'd like to talk to you about a great low-interest transfer rate." Or you get a message from someone on Facebook you haven't heard from in a couple of years and they're telling you about this neat new program they stumbled upon and "you should try it!"
Sometimes, folks are taken in.
Sometimes, as in this example, people are not. Especially if the person in question is a cop...and the one contacting him on Facebook is in reality sitting right next to him.
