CARMI, Ill. - A couple of incidents involving underage kids were reported yesterday in Carmi, and one of them was a 15-year-old found passed out on a street.

Police were called to a location on the 1600 block of Saunders Avenue about 9:04 a.m. yesterday morning (Thursday, August 3).

Once they arrived, they located both some vodka, as well as some cannabis, on the kid's person.

He was transported to an area hospital by White County Ambulance Service, with no other information regarding the matter available.

In what appeared to be an unrelated incident involving a juvenile, a curfew violation was reported at 10:20 last night, and officers responded to a location on Fifth and Main streets in Carmi, where they found a 13-year-old on the First Baptist Church parking lot. He was taken into custody and apparently released back to his parents.

Also on Thursday, a wallet was reported stolen.

Amanda Wolf reported that her wallet had gone missing some time between July 30th and August 3; she told officers she last saw it in her vehicle. It is described as a camouflage-print and contains her social security card. If anyone has information, please contact Carmi police at 618-382-4633.
