HAMILTON CO. – It’s a light month regarding misdemeanors in Hamilton County, probably to the relief of the cops and court system.
On June 7, Chelsie A. Turlich Ialso spelled “Turlick” in court documents) , 21, of South Heard Street in McLeansboro, was charged with Unlawful Use of Intoxicating Compounds after it’s alleged that on that same day, he was inhaling compressed air.
Court documents don’t show where this was allegedly taking place nor under what circumstances Turlich was discovered allegedly doing the deed.
Regardless, Ms. Turlich’s more immediate problems were resolved when one Romiro Velasco of the same address as Turlich/Turlick, posted $150 cash bond. She made a first appearance July 6.
A Dahlgren man was next up. David A. Trotter, 45, was charged on June 27 with a June 11 incident of Battery, wherein he was accused to striking Jesse Colvin in the fact with his fist.
Likewise, Colvin, 29, of Mt. Vernon, was charged with striking Trotter in the face with his fist.
Court documents don’t show where the throwdown is alleged to have occurred, nor even hinting at what it was over.
Neither man has any criminal history in Hamilton, and the only thing Mr. Colvin seems to run afoul of is an ex up in Jefferson County.
They’re bot set for first appearances in early August.
