FLORA: City police have an array of issues…including serving a Franklin County warrant

FLORA, Ill. - Flora once again appears to be the landing zone for folks from out of the area when it comes to citations and warrants, and this police report includes one from Effingham and one from Franklin County.

Chief John Nicholson has advised of the following in this police report for his city, June 14-25:

Wednesday, June 14 at 8:35 am, Flora Police arrested Michael Wasion, 50, of Flora for Domestic Battery, following an incident in the 200 block of College Avenue. Wasion was taken to Flora Police Department for booking procedures before being transferred to the custody of Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

Tuesday, June 20 at 12:15 pm, Carlos Navarette, 23, of Flora was issued a Citation for Dog Running at Large, following an incident in the 700 block of Shadwell.

Sunday, June 25 at 12:56 am, Flora Police arrested Alan Ksiazkiewicz, 31, of Flora for Disorderly Conduct, following an incident in the 200 block of East North Ave. Ksiakiewicz was also issued a Local Ordinance Citation for Possession of Cannabis. After undergoing booking procedures at Flora Police Department, Ksiazkiewicz was released with a Notice to Appear.

Sunday, June 25 at 2:30 pm, a male juvenile, 17, of Effingham was issued a Citation for Speeding, following a traffic stop in the 600 block of East North Avenue.

Sunday, June 25 at 5:34 pm, Flora Police arrested Brian Wagner, 34, of Flora on an outstanding Franklin County Failure to Appear warrant. Wagner was able to post the necessary cash bond and was released with a Notice to Appear.
