CODY MOORE

LAWRENCE CO.— A Bridgeport man who has been in and out of prison since 2005 could be returning to his prison diet soon.

Police say on March 25, while at Frazier and Oak Streets, Bridgeport, Cody James Moore, 29, of 123 Franklin St., Bridgeport, committed the offense of Aggravated Driving Revoked when he was caught tooling around town on an ATV.

Moore’s criminal history includes an arrest August 25, 2005, at which time he was charged with two counts of Burglary and a single count of Theft $300-$10,000.

Moore pleaded guilty to the theft charge September 28, 2005 in return for the burglary charges being dismissed and sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) for two years and ordered to pay $943.20 in fines and fees.

Sure enough, shortly after getting out of prison, March 28, 2007, Moore was taken into custody and charged with Driving Suspended and sent back to his state supported cage on a sentence of one year and $765 in fines and fees.

On September 3, 2008 he was sentenced back to IDOC for another 42 months following a conviction for Aggravated Battery of a Peace Officer.

That case cost him another $1,652 in fines and fees.

Moore was released from police custody April 4 after posting a $1,500 cash bond.
