CARMI, Ill. - Carmi police report that a man from Creal Springs was cited and jailed on multiple driving infractions last night (Thursday, December 29).
Carmi PD stopped a silver 2002 Lincoln passenger car late last night (about 2 minutes to midnight) on Third Street at Cherry Street after a vehicle registration check showed that the registration was suspended for a mandatory insurance violation and that the registered owner had a suspended driver's license, according to police reports on file.
The driver was Jeremy Blaine Holston, 41, of Creal Springs over in Williamson County.
He was subsequently jailed at the White County Jail and cited for Operating a Vehicle when Registration Suspended for non-insurance, Driving While License Suspended, and Operating Uninsured Vehicle. He remained there as of today, unable to post $150 cash bond.
