UPDATE 7:45 P.M
We've heard from family and friends of Lawrence Ewing of Fairfield, who are reporting on his condition:
Earlier this evening, they were considering him in stable condition (about 4:30 p.m. The doctors were trying to wake him up. His injuries consisted of broken ribs and an unspecified head injury. A few hours later, he was still not conscious. He remained on a ventilator shortly before this update. His condition is remaining stable.

CLAY CO., Ill. - A driver has been flown to an Evansville hospital from the Clay County Hospital in Flora after driving up under a RoGator farm implement this morning.
The accident happened four miles south of Clay City on Big Four Road today (Monday, May 2) at 9:35 a.m.
According to Illinois State Police District 12, a 2004 RoGator farm implement being operated by William Keith Harvel, 47, no address given, was traveling eastbound on Day Flower Lane.
A 2013 Ford C-Max passenger car, being driven by Lawrence J. Ewing, 35, no address given, was traveling northbound on Big Four Road.
The RoGator ran the stop sign and pulled into the path of the car; and the car went under the front of the farm implement.
Both vehicles came to rest in the ditch on the northeast corner of the intersection. Harvel was uninjured. Ewing was taken to Clay County Hospital and later flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
Harvel was cited for Failure to Yield at Stop Intersection and Disobeying Stop Sign.
