WABASH CO.— The details involving the alleged actions of a Keensburg man who has been convicted of sexual abuse in one case, convicted of solicitation to meet a child in another case and now charged with Child Pornography have been filed.
The latest case comes on the heels of a formal charge alleging that on February 19, Travis L. Hammond, now 20, of 6229 1st St., Keensburg, violated an order of protection when he made physical contact with Alana Lloyd and proceeded to detain her, pick her up and carry her to the inside of a building, located at 1119 1/2 North Mulberry, and held her there by restraining her arms to prevent her from leaving.
Hammond now stands accused of soliciting a female under the age of 18 to appear in a photograph in which she would be depicted in a pose involving the lewd exhibition of the unclothed genitals of a minor.
The Child Pornography solicitation is said to have taken place between January 25-February 23, 2016.
Disturbing history
Hammond was convicted February 25, 2014 of Solicitation to Meet a Child when on January 29, 2014, he used the internet with the intent to meet a child, solicited with the child to meet without the knowledge of the child’s parents for a purpose other than a lawful one.
Hammond was ultimately sentenced to probation for two years and ordered to pay $677 in fines and fees, of which he still owes $177.
On July 14, 2014 he was convicted of Battery Causing Bodily Harm and was sentenced to probation for another two years and ordered to pay $1,184 in fines and fees, of which he still owes $634.
Hammond was found guilty of Criminal Sexual Abuse against a victim 16 years of age when on November 15, 2014, he “intentionally put his penis in the vagina” of the victim.
He was again sentenced to two more years of probation and ordered to pay $1,437 in fines and fees, of which he still owes $1,137.
A conviction Sept. 21, 2015 for Violation of an Order of Protection earned Hammond another probation sentence of two years and fines and fees of $992, of which he has paid nothing.
A cash bond has been set in the case at $4,000 with the understanding that Hammond have no contact with any minors under the age of 18.
Thus far there appears to be no filing to revoke the condition of his bond in the unlawful restraint case or the violations of his sentences in either the battery case or the sex abuse case.
