WHITE CO., Ill. - White County State's Attorney Denton Aud has announced sentencings in his county occurring this week.
On Monday, Randy L. McGill, 31, of Carmi, was sentenced to 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections with 4 years of mandatory supervised release for the offense of Domestic Battery, a Class 4 Felony.
On Wednesday, Jason K. Ballard, 29, of Carmi was sentenced to 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections with 2 years of mandatory supervised release for the offense of Possession of Contraband in Penal Institution, a Class 1 Felony. Ballard was recommended to participate in the Impact Incarceration Program , also known as "Boot Camp."
Judge T. Scott Webb was the judge on both cases.
