EDWARDS CO., Ill.--While there's no indication that it's related to the latest meth bust in Edwards County involving Brad Beehn, another has followed as of today.
There's also been an arrest of a woman in Albion on a charge of Domestic Battery.
First, though, Edwards County authorities have charged one Amanda Tucker, 35, whom records show lives in Owensville, Indiana, with Unlawful Possession of Meth, wherein it's alleged that Tucker, on July 18, had in her possession less than 5 grams of the illicit substance.
She was arrested and booked in the White County Jail in Carmi yesterday, and made a first appearance today (July 21) on the matter, with a subsequent appearance (preliminary hearing) set for the 28th.
Whether Tucker's arrest had anything to do with Beehn's a couple of weeks ago - along with his significant other, Cassandra Phillips - is unknown at this time, but generally speaking, after a big meth arrest like that, others routinely follow; we'll let you, our educated readers, ponder to yourselves as to why.
In other Edwards County court news today, one Ute B. Ferido, 49, of Albion, was also arrested yesterday, charged with misdemeanor Domestic Battery after a July 17 incident that we've not been made privy to; only the charges. She was being held at the White County Jail on an $8,000 bail ($800 cash bond) and made a first appearance this morning; she's set for a prelim next week, same day as Tucker.
