HAMILTON CO., Ill.---It was a quick turnaround time for a young McLeansboro man accused of a sex offense this past month.
Nathan E. Ford, 19, was sentenced to 8 years in Illinois Department of Corrections on a Class 2 felony, Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse, according to Hamilton County State's Attorney Justin Hood. Ford will serve 2 years of mandatory supervised release (parole) upon his release.
Ford committed an act of sexual penetration between October 1 and November 1, 2014 with a female in which he was more than 5 years older and she was at least 13. He was arrested on February 25 of this year. The case was investigated by Illinois State Police. Ford is currently in White County Jail awaiting transfer to a DOC facility.
